OK, that does it! I am moving Ice Cream Emperor this week! Look at those buds! After seeing your photo I went out to look again at mine-no rebloom scapes on it but Prickly Sensation was blooming next door. I think ICE is surrounded by too many huge clumps.

Pink Lemonade and A Little Night Music have such pretty color. I don’t remember ....Night Music-did you show it this year?

These are so nice to see at this point in the season, temps have been cool here too. Old Time Italian has been a show-off this season, so lovely.

Kate - Ice Cream Emperor does have a lot of buds this year - both on the rebloom scapes and on the originals. You need to move it where it can get plenty of sun. I've posted at least three photos of A Little Night Music this season - one on the original bloom, one when it rebloomed in July, and now. It has a low bud count here and doesn't seem able to multiply past three fans, but it's a great rebloomer.

Sherry - Old Time Italian is doing well on that rebloom scape, but didn't do particularly well on its original bloom. Only two of six fans scaped. Pink Aloha is such a sprawling thug, OTI can't get enough sun, and neither can three others surrounding Pink Aloha. I may have to move Pink Aloha to a less protected spot next Spring.

Beautiful! Pink Lemonade Party and A Little Night Music are my favorites of these. It's must be nice to have so many reblooming. It has been so dry here that I am surprised we have gotten any rebloom. We haven't had any rain in weeks, but it is forecast for tomorrow. We did find one seedling planted just this season sending up a first scape. Our nighttime temps will be down to about 40 in a couple of days so I don't expect the flower to look like much. I would cut the scape off, but it is almost ready to flower so I don't imagine it will do any harm to let it bloom.

Hoosier Nan - It is nice to have so many blooming. I wish it were going to be just a little warmer so they could continue opening right.

Here's Memphis from today. The scape in the back has just started blooming and has at least 18 buds. These are likely the last flowers on it that will open right for the next two weeks.

Besides my perennial mums, the wild ageratum provides a burst of bluesy color on the shadier side of the house. I saw Kate said she grows these too on another thread, and mowers do want to wack them down!

Sherry - All the blooms on Old Time Italian have been great this season. I just wish I would have had a nice clump of it during the original bloom time. When it gets enough sun and water, it is outstanding!

A Little Night Music and Pink Lemonade Party are my favorites, all look really good though. All are so pretty, especially to be reblooming so late. I have the wild ageratum too, but it reseeds so heavily I try to keep it pulled out before it reseeds too heavily. Memphis is really nice.

Nancy - The wild ageraturm has grown on the shady side of my house for at least 25 years . It came up there on it's own. I've never noticed it reseeding heavily here, but maybe that's because it only gets part shade instead of full sun. I don't have anything else planted on that side of the house, so I don't mind that it keeps spreading. Not much else will bloom there. It gets shade all morning, and then hot afternoon sun for 4-5 hours. I've tried transplating it to other part-shade areas of the garden, but the starts always die. I o really like it's color, and it's usually about 16 inches high here..

Maybe I should try planting some on the northwest side of my house, it gets shade til about 2:00, then sun. It really is a nice color.

Wow Debra, your season just keeps on going. Must be that warmer climate.Are you at least getting some rain? Here the wild asters - white and purple- are blooming everywhere along with the dreaded rag weed. A little of the rudbeckias are still going and the blue salvia(can't remember the name) just keeps pumping out the blooms.

Julia - I have some lavender an pink asters blooming, but my white wood asters haven't started yet. We haven't had much rain, but we did get more than two inches of rain one day in mid-Sept.

A Little Night Music is really pretty, Debra, but they all look good as your blooms and your photos usually do. Debra have you noticed that the reblooms are taller and the flowers maybe even prettier than they were during the regular season? So many of mie that rebloomed were as much as a foot taller than during regular season.

Kay - Most of my rebloomers are an inch or two taller, but Mystical Intuition is about 10 inches taller than the first set of scapes. The scapes on the ones that have not started blooming yet are going to be shorter than the first scapes, probably because it's been so dry for the past two months. I just noticed scapes have popped up on Bite of the Apple and The Tribble With Blue. I don't know if they'll have time to bloom before a freeze or not. It looks like most of October will be chilly here.
