BlueStar 36'' cooktop - will the knobs get too hot?

We're considering either the BlueStar 36'' cooktop or a Wolf. We really like the open burner on the BlueStar, but I can't find as many reviews on the BlueStar cooktop. One particilar question I have is that given position of the knobs (front center), and the two 22000 BTU burners (front left and front right), will the knobs get too hot especially when woks are involved?

There have been some recent negative reviews of BlueStar defects in lighting on range tops. I would search the archives here at Houzz before making your decision. I don't know about the knobs, but some people have been having problems much more serious than hot knobs.

I have my Bluestar range on order but I did extensive research on the BlueStar ranges and many others as well. I don't know first hand but I never came across a complaint that the knobs would get hot. Older versions of the BlueStar range resulted in the over door getting very hot but this has since been fixed and is no longer an issue.

The Bluestar open burners are amazing. But you won't get those on the cooktop. Go for the range top and you'll be a lot happier.
