Funny window situation

Hi! We are not sure what to do in terms of a window treatment we do not want to cover the windows-shades can't be inset:( and we are looking to dress it up and coordinate with the great room it adjoins. We have privacy issue with the great room large windows shown in the pic. We were thinking Hunter Douglas Parkland wood blinds 21/2 inches wide. Also, for the dining room we thought maybe stationary panels BUT the problem is the side window that opens up to our great room???!!! All opinions welcome PLEASE!!!! Thanks!
