Help with decorating walls

I’m at a loss for what to put on these walls. I’m thinking a mirror above the couch but not sure what to put on the left wall. Any ideas are greatly appreciated!

PS. Ignore the missing lamp shade! I’ve ordered a new one, it just hasn’t come yet.

I'm surprised at how many people don't have art! I have so many pieces, I don't have enough wall space.

what do you like? abstract, animals, paintings, photos, serigraphs? your room desperately needs some color and life. It's nice, but everything is gray!

you need something to hang on both walls

these two rooms are almost identical to yours. look at the diff.

notice the ceiling light. now granted, this style is a tad more modern, but look at the colors and the pieces. the warm wood, the nice accent wall, the lights, the plants.

a little on the glam side, but notice the materials used here to liven it up.

color! greenery. warm wood tones. art.

all her base colors are gray, like yours. but look at the diff it makes by bringing in a few colorful decor items. the lamp shade, the pillows, the wood chairs/throw, plants.

Thanks! Those rooms are beautiful. No gray in my though aside from the wood. Everything is cream/taupe. Maybe the lighting throws those colors?

I do have some color in the pillows. Maybe I can accent with those? I do want to get a new coffee table, just having a hard time finding a round one that may look nice.

I cant say I have a certain taste for art. I think all genres can be nice!

Yes, maybe the lighting is making it look more gray. the cream and taupe is pretty, but need something else. How about a wood coffee table?

or maybe a gold and glass table?

honestly, I'd copy this layout. try moving the chairs back like they have this one, put something taller in that one corner. they have the floor lamp, but you could use a tall plant.

I like the wood accents in here. it warms up the room.

and bring in a chandelier. that will make a huge diff

see how the tall plant in the corner is placed? and the two chairs? and the coffee table and artwork? Try doing somethin like this

How would a more naturally colored coffee table look? Not a fan of gold.

i would say no to a mirror unless what is on the opposite wall is worth reflecting. You have a fairly neutral palate; choose art that you really like, and then pick up the accent colors from it in pillows and other accents.

    no. not that one.

    maybe something like these

you don't have to use all of these. I'm just showing you what substituting some color would do.

I like the warm wood tones in this table or the other ones I posted. and the style.

the one you have is too blonde and looks too much like a stool

another option for abstract art and blue pillows

don't like blue? bring in yellows and grays

Do you have a favorite vacation spot or place you’ve always wanted to go? A large photograph of that beautifully framed might be a start for art on your walls.

Besides a meaningful piece of art, I might go for something taller in one of the corners beside your loveseat.

thank you celery. you're so good at hanging art and adding accessories.

that's a very neutral palette. maybe op likes it better than something with color.

Celery that looks very nice!! I would never have thought to use so many pictures on the left wall. Love the taller greenery on the right. Any idea where I can find something like that?
