Small Hallway Bathroom Door Help

We have a small hallway that leads to our bedroom. On the left-hand side there is a small bathroom. We have a regular pre-hung door that swings inward. It's always been kind of annoying, since the bathroom isn't big enough for the door to open all the way; it runs into the toilet. This issue has been exacerbated during potty training as our toddler has to run into the bathroom, get inside, push the door away from the toilet to get on it, etc.

We were thinking of adding a pocket door here - it would be perfect. But, upon further inspection, this is a loadbearing wall...and, I don't want to go through the expense of hiring a structural engineer and perhaps trying to fit in a new/larger header; if it's even possible for this rather short wall.

I absolutely do not want a sliding barn door.

Are there any other ideas here? Aside from just sucking it up and walking around a door?
