Paint the fascia?

Hello! We got a new roof and removed the shutters (thanks to Houzzers for suggesting removing them!) and now our painter is suggesting painting the fascia and gutters (not downspouts) a dark color like SW Iron Ore. Would love some opinions on it! I realize it needs something so I plan to add more landscaping to the front side and would like to change out the front light fixtures.
Paint fascia and gutters a dark color (such as SW Iron Ore)
Leave fascia and gutters current color (BM Swiss Coffee)
