Funny! The reamer looks like it might be a good one.

I hope so. It also has a grater attachment. Doubt I will use that. It looks like there is a large clear plastic reamer that can be removed to use the small green reamer. I can't see how the clear reamer locks into place or if it will stay in place when using it.

And in the questions and answers sections below the ad, people want to know where it was made...usually only one country. No point in asking. Not much made in U.S. now.

If you look at the clear reamer part off to the left in the second picture, you will see it has some slightly longer sections around the bottom. I imagine these fit into the slits on the base of the green part, which would lock it in place in use.

Colleen, if you look at the top picture, you can barely see that clear section is sitting on top of the green reamer blades. Is it for use when you don't need the sharper green blades of the reamer?

Yes, the clear section fits on top of the green bit but if you look more closely at the bottom picture as I said, the clear part has “feet” which look of a size to slot into the slits in the base of the green part.

I’m not sure why the clear part but if I was guessing, I’d think it’s like an ”expansion kit” to better fit larger fruit such as oranges.

Yes, the clear part is for larger oranges, and the green part is for lemons or limes. I wish it had a handle on it for pouring. I have not decided if I am buying it or not.
