What cabinet and wall color?

I just had new granite and backsplash installed. Gray white counters and backsplash. I am having cabinets and kitchen wall painted. I want white uppers and gray lowers with a gray wall, Any suggestions for colors of paint? I’m looking at alabaster SW uppers and Dorian Gray lowers Sw. Not sure of wall color agreeable gray or repose gray. My adjacent wall is soft sand and I am worried about my gray and white not matching my beige living room. Thanks for any advice. I will attach pics.

This was done backwards IMO noy you need to make sure all the choices work with the new counters and I never like beige and gray together so IMO you need to decide you are painting the other walls oyr you are doing white in the kitchen . As for the cabinet color taht now needs to be decided first .

I feel that you should definitely paint the adjacent room to what you decide for walls in kitchen since it is so open (all great options that you have noted). I love BM White Dove for cabinets and trim -- it's a warm, creamy white and would look great with your marble backsplash and countertop. Your kitchen will be beautiful!

You are correct in feeling concerned regarding the adjacent wall color. I would re-paint the soft sand, otherwise, you will have competing tones in your home. I would also wait on selecting a wall color after your cabinets are painted. The wall colors you have selected all work well with your counters and tile but again, wait for the cabinets.

painting the other adjoining walls in living area is way to much. I agree about gray and beige that’s why I am concerned. I was thinking agreeable gray being a griege would maybe work but I don’t know. I was going to do kitchen ceiling alabaster so maybe do the whole kitchen that color? I just really like contrast around the white trim and molding.

Yes Glo the cabinets will be painted first. Do you think alabaster in uppers and Dorian gray SW would look good?

If you’re not going to paint the adjacent walls I definitely wouldn’t do grey lowers. Find a nice warm white for all the cabinets and go from there regarding wall colour.

Oh my gosh I love it! Thank you so much for sending a visual, What is that White paint color? And should I just paint kitchen same color as cabinets or leave as soft sand?

My entire home is painted in agreeable grey and I don't think it would look good butted up next to a beige wall color.

It's BM revere pewter via amber interiors instagram.

I would still paint your kitchen a lighter color and not use soft sand.

Whatever you do, make sure you test colors before committing to anything. Pre-planning is everything. Good luck!
