I have some of mine quarantined in the hoop house. I used bonide granules and sprayed them with Natria. Did that with everything I brought in.

I had some broken goldenstreet leaves I put in a pot a year ago. I just noticed new growth. This will be regular trifasciata, right?

Also, wondering how many more hahnii I will loose this winter.

Nancy, Mostly trifasciata but never know if you might get one with the lighter green tones. Your pup may stay lighter green then regular trifasciata.

I remember 'Rainforestguy' said 'If you would put some variegated leaves thru a chipper and lad flat, you would increase the odds of getting some variegated in the pups'. Maybe? His suggestion but never tried it.

I thought it would be trifasciata. I just can't throw a leaf out if it looks good.

I guess you could slice cuttings the length of the leaf and see what happens. I'll have to try that next time.

I'm trying to resist the urge to buy more from the dawei seller. He has some really lovely plants for sale. But I don't have room! Ugh.

Hi Stush! I sold off quite a few of my collection this year for various reasons but still, my house is stuffed with plants! How can this be? Lol. I started getting in Gasteria and love them too. Why can’t Sans stay that small?

Aloe, Gasteria, Haworthia. Still have too many myself. Gave away 1/2 my plants and still have a house full. Still see some I must have. (not).

I have way more pots of repeat plants than I bargained for. I will be reducing some come Spring or Fall. Once these trifasciatas get going, they just do not stop. I'd like a little room for two more different plants, then I'll call myself good.

People should be getting pups pretty soon? Maybe things will pick up.

Maybe we are all awesome sansevieria owners and we don't have any problems to write about.

I have about 4 pots extremely full of hahnii Gold Hahnii. Due to loosing them by misshapes I was afraid to part with them. Same with Gold Flame. Come spring I have to part with most of them. Same with some odd balls I have laying around that don't excite me. I once collected just to have several different kinds but now I don't want to own them.

I still see some I must have and no room. Time to take stock with my collection.

Why do you “have to” part with them, Stush? Are we all getting older and tired of dragging these huge plants in and out of our houses seasonally? I have to say, there is something to be said for smaller succulents. Lol.

Yes and what do I do? I buy some sharp looking agave only to find out they out grow my largest Snake plants in a few years. Some get 8 feet tall and wide. A flower stock gets as tall as my house and looks like a small tree. I think I need my head examined. Old age stupid syndrome.

Oh no. That is going to be a LOT of spiky plant.

Speaking of a spiky plant, I just wanted to post a picture of my baby patens. I saw new growth just under soil when I brought it in a couple of months ago.

My canaliculata dwarf has a flower.

This giant silver blue beauty was just getting a new leaf when I brought it in, now it's almost as tall as the original leaves
