My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Painting Kitchen Cabinets

Our son did his. He spray painted them, he’s not a pro but had some experience in spray

painting from a few bathroom remodels.


He didn’t want white cause he has such a bright kitchen he didn’t want to live in the North Pole. :)

He chose a light gray, and still they appear a lot lighter because of his big window and skylights.

I only have a couple of before pics...but lots of after pics...

He filled in the wood first with a wood filler, then two coats of primer and two coats of paint...

he sanded well between coats. He sprayed in the garage and made a drying rack to dry the doors and drawers.

Here are the before pics...The whole project took two months.
