Hardwood comes in variable lengths so if you want your flooring tol look more real go variable .

I was looking at engineered hardwood flooring yesterday in fact - And the price difference between good quality vinyl and mid range engineered wood is comparable. However the installation price for the wood is twice as much? I guess a compromise would be saving money on real wood, and spending a bit more on the best vinyl and aesthetics. There doesn't seem to be photos I can find that show the grande variable length installed.

@jeffprentice did you end up installing the Coretec Grande?

No, in the end I went with Prime ocean retreat lvp at $6.50 sq ft installed. The coretec series was either out of stock or much more money in the end. My local flooring guy recommended the Prime...It came out ok. I’m not 100% happy with the install - I made them come back and fix a couple of things and then just made my peace with it. For example you can see a strip separating the hall from the bathroom because for it to be seamless he would have had to shim to compensate for a slight level difference - and personally I think that would have led to a slope and spongy feel. At any rate it’s better than what we had! It was 8k installed for around 900 sq ft including a bunch of mounding

@jeffprentice Love the color! We're replacing our current hardwoods which are the exact thickness of the Grande. If I used a lower mm thickness all my casings which currently sit on my hardwoods will have a gap (replacing the baseboards)...I didn't even think about the bathroom that is currently tile that we would not be replacing and the hight difference we would have too.
