countertop spot bleached

I had a cleaning lady and she ruined my laminate countertop behind the sink with bleach. I have a brownish counter and when it's dry it's whitish, but if I oil it with something like olive oil, it looks normal. Is there a way to repair this spot? I can't afford nor need new countertops.

It depends. Do you have some matching backsplash you could sacrifice for repair material? Picture please.

No matching counter pieces. Pic will have to come later as I just oiled it and it doesn’t show with it oiled.

Put a soap dispenser there. No repairing that.

Laminate that had the color bleached out is toast without more laminate to make a repair.

That's a bummer. It's wierd though if I oil it, it doesn't show. I was hoping there was a way to seal the oil in there, but that's probably unlikely.
