Love the sage

Not a fan of the sage as I feel it's a bit dated. What about going for a deep color like Navy? It would pop with your white backsplash.

Mmmm had not considered that. I will look at Navy . That might blow the husbands mind. Is sage dated.? We have lots of honey maple and I was simply looking to work with that.

Sage was big about 15 yrs ago. Lots of greys going on now.

if you get a bigger view of kitchen I can paint different colors on the wall to give you a better idea of what certain colors will look like

I think your suggestions sound great. I like the sage green as you show on your sample pix. I might suggest a little softer, grayer, green if you are open to that.. I

didn't see you mention ( or I missed it) what your flooring is.

If you like sage, I would go with a softer sage, not something that will compete with your art. A grayed green like BM 1556, above.

Posting better overall pictures is needed in order for anyone to comment....photos of adjoining spaces as well as you want this paint color to not only work with the cabinets but with the overall feel of the house.

Your pictures are fine- just need some that give a better overview of the room, maybe from a few different angles would be helpful. You will get better feedback when people can get a better idea of the space.
