Double Arm Student Lamp

Hello, just curious if anyone knows anything about a student lamp like this. Having a hard time finding another with the pull out drawers or even a wooden base. Found the ruffled shades to be rather interesting, as well. Any information would be appreciated, it has a European style pronged cord.. thanks!

I cannot imagine something so delicate is a student lamp. Desk lamp.

The wood part to me looks like 60s reproduction "student"/desk lamp to be used on one of those maple desks that were so prevalent. I assume the plug is European so I'm not sure if the lamp is European or that it was changed to that type of plug.

Shielajoyce, student lamp is a term for a couple lamp like that.
I think it's lots older than the maple desk era. I would guess maybe 1950? ( but i guess that's the maple era)...very nice lamp, not like the kitsch from the hard rock maple stuff. Noticing the adjustable height of the fonts.
Sorry never seen one just like that.....but it's lovely...a high quality lamp I would say.
