The three plants in the back do not look like rhododendron to me. They look like a form of boxwood. Maybe azalea?

Dogs don't eat rhododendron leaves!! There is absolutely nothing about a rhododendron that would interest them at all. In fact, once past the puppy chewing stage, dogs rarely ever bother any plants. And boxwood and yews are just as toxic - perhaps even more so - than the rhodies.

I have gardened with dogs all my life and with dogs in various life stages. None of them has ever shown any interest in munching on plants other than some grass stalks. And I've grown an assortment of plants, many of which are far more toxic than the rhododendrons.

It is an unnecessary concern :-)

The back row plants are pjm rhododendron elite. Our dog is a puppy so chewing on everything but perhaps will grow out of the stage. Perhaps no need to worry.

Yeah, puppies are a concern. During that stage, keep 'em away from it. They're not stupid, but like toddlers, everything seems to end up in their mouths.

Dogs depend. I have one who does chew on some things as he gets very old and, historically, most of them that didn't or don't. It's not easy to make blanket statements (cough) except to say that most dogs usually don't, but that some dogs simply can't be trained out of these things.
