I picked up the following (although I was not sure how to hold them over the winter as per Ken's advice) I went with a first week in April delivery, which might be too late.

1) Fragrant Queen - every one I have ever seen looks fake and I find that intriguing

2) Frank Lloyd Wright - I have gone back and forth on whether I want this one for a while now

3) Frisian Pride - I know it looks best in a pot, but I am hoping it works almost as well in the ground

4) Valley's Lemon Squash - even if it greens up quickly, it is a stunner early on

5) Yellow Polka-Dot Bikini - only my second in the Striptease line, so I was way behind

are any of those the first year introductions i was talking about??? .. most seem at least more than a few years old ...

I went with a mid April delivery. I think he's better about not selling stuff that he'll run out of that quickly any more. Famous last words. I have to cut way back on buying but I did order a Marshmallow Sky thanks to LL's previous pictures and posts about it. Also added:

i grew in full shade, i could see it in half day sun with many eyes really standing out.

in full shade it made a large clump. although the blue might burn off earlier with more sun. the pollen of queen of the seas gave it that tight ripple you don't see much in blues.

Thanks a bunch. That thin margin and tight ripple really set it apart. Usually I like a wider margin, but on that plant the thin margin really suits it. The feathery edge looks like it gets multiple colors in it too with touches of creamy green to brassy yellow. With QotS being such an old standard, I'm surprised there aren't more progeny out there. I'm starting to get a few of your creations now. Do you have a list of your introductions somewhere?

Thanks for the list. I ordered Wildest Dreams after checking it out. That only leaves Ephemeral Lace from your list (since I have the first two already). Not that I'm stalking your creations, I just really like them. But after looking into Ephemeral Lace, I ordered Venetian Lace instead. That white center turning to green (mint?) really has me intrigued. Where do I get into the Bloodline line? Oh and please don't tell anyone else about that until I get mine, lol. Probably good I can't find a pic of Light the Match.

Bob will introduce ltm. It just went in so it takes a couple of years to get quantities and size.

I have a small batch of bloodline that I will grow a season and release the following spring.

it should add some new color too gardens. For me the red blushes more and lasts longer than first blush.

there are some promising reds coming up behind those. But still in evaluation. I only want to release quality. So it takes time for maturity And judging worthiness.
