New granite install

Hi all,

I recently had granite counters installed in our basement bar. Two questions go all or you.

I was told by my fabricator that despite our 30 inch counter, we could only install a 21 inch under mount sink (which seemedmuch too small especially if entertaining), but I see several sources that suggest the base cabinet could fit up to 27 inches.
I am concerned regarding the granite overhang with my sink. It measures up to 1/2 inch and I fear it will chip easily. Our kitchen has a pretty flush mount and maybe overhangs by millimeters.

Did you mean to say "30" sink base cabinet" when you said "30 inch counter"? If so, you could have undermounted a 30" sink.

You have a large negative sink reveal and he missed it for consistency. It isn't "wrong", but it's off. The barely-rounded sink profile is prone to chipping. Be careful please.

It's not too late to change the sink, reveal, and edge profile without pulling the stone (I do it for a living), but he won't be a bit happy about it.

Yes, thanks for your reply. I was trying to say 30 inch sink base cabinet. It is my own fault, I should have done my research when I was told a 21 inch sink was the appropriate size for my cabinet. A simple google search was able to tell me otherwise. I wish you were closer, I checked out your website and your work looks beautiful.
