Take a Pic of that whole wall maybe just move the stand over 8” or have the outlet moved if it really makes you crazy . IMO there are always cords seen somewhere . i think the more you try to hide it the more obvious it will be.

I would get a longer cabinet - the one you have is out of proportion with the tv above it. A longer one will eliminate the proportion problem and cover the plug.

Either put a plant there or get a longer cabinet would be my suggestion. The TV seems oversized for the cabinet below it but the least expensive option would be a plant.

This is something my ex-wife would have worried about. Me, not so much.

This is my life. get a basket or ceramic pot. Not hard.

@Joseph Corlett, LLC ha. It is actually my husband prompting this. I could not care less but he talks about how it drives him nuts every night. I need to stop talking about this darn plug!

That plant is very slow growing and survives in poor conditions and neglect. Measure the height to the bottom of the tv and account for added inches of placing it in a decorative container. Husband will not like the tips of the thing in the tv screen.

I agree you need a longer cabinet and that would solve the whole issue so tell hubby to get shopping.

I am bothered more by the fact that the cabinet is so small compared to the TV. Top Heavy. This is my set-up; with the side plug showing:

If you do put something there, I’d bring it forward enough so that it doesn’t look lined up with the TV/console, and more intentional instead of forced. It’ll draw the eye away from the plug, instead of trying to cover it completely.

I have a basket in front of mine because of multiple plugs and a strip. It truly is an eyesore. It’s near the fp, so I keep decorative logs in it.

For yours, maybe a throw, pillows, etc?
