We hit 29 here a couple days last week, daylilies are getting yellowed leaves. Oddly, 2 daylilies, Firestorm and Midsummer a Woman's Work are still blooming. Not really great looking blooms, despite 70 degree temps right now, but I was surprised they are even trying.

Naturally, I have here in NH. We even got some snow awhile back, which didn't stick for long. After having a lot of nights below freezing and daytime temps only in the 30's and 40's, we are now having unusually warm weather....60's to 70. It seems un-natural to be raking leaves in my shorts....lol. (and yes, where I live, high 60's we bring out the summer clothing).

Nancy, your weather sound like what we are experiencing here. It’s been in the 70’s for 5-6 days, one more day of 70’s and back to normal temps for the season. Had hard freeze just before these unseasonably warm temps.

Last year on Halloween we experienced the biggest snowfall of the season, couldn’t be more different this year.

Same as Nancy except we hit about 25. The hard freeze stopped most growing but not all. Most of the Daylilies still look good, others yellowish, as you probably saw on my mulch post.

We've had one night at 30 degrees, and many of the daylilies have yellowing leaves. But the next 10 days look like fairly warm temps and no more freezes in the forecast. Of course, that could change at any time.

Celeste: Raking leaves in shorts is hard to imagine in NH this time of year, but as with most of us, the temperature seems to be bouncing around. I still have to water all my daylilies/roses in pots, so I'm not complaining about doing it in the 60's-70's, but I am looking forward to dormant/no water daylilies at some point.................Maryl

We had one night at 26 and another at 28. All the annuals are dead and daylilies are going dormant. However, the temperature today is near 80--Indian summer, I guess.

One night we had goodly hard frost . Temps were -4 celcius 24.8 Farenheit . We have also had snow thanks to a storm that blew through up from the USA on November 2nd. It didn't stick around but was depressing to see snow so soon.

Figured it out . For some reason the image was saved on my computer as a jfif file??? Not sure why or how . However, I had to convert it to a jpg file for Houzz to allow it to upload.

Now we are in a heat wave , last day supposed to be tomorrow and then the temps drop dramatically.

We are staying in the high 70s and low 80s. We had one very light frost one night that didn't even kill the begonias. supposedly we will be in the 60s days and 40s nights in a week or so which is normal here for this time of year, but they have said that before and it hasn't happened yet.
