It can be fungal, it can be bacterial - kind of the wrong time for bacterial - but what you are doing is making sure that a plant culture is right - and hope that the plant will grow out of it on its own - they have their own protection and resistance. Groomed plant, fresh soil, good light, good temperature, no cold drafts... What my first club president used to say - plants have a limited vocabulary - and when they complain - it is often more then one potential cause for the same symptom. Like - you eat something off - you got hives, you stressed yourself - you got hives... etc. But you start eating right and stop worrying - you either resolve the situation, or recognize that it is out of your control... and the hives will go away...till next time.

There are some fatal infections that plant cannot grow out of... but it is not it.

What a way with words you have, Irina. I love it! I'll check her roots just to see what they look like. Also, it's interesting that it's happening more with both my Blue Dragons than with other plants. The photos are of the younger one I grew from a leaf of the older one. They've been on different sides of the plant room, so I don't think they caught something from each other!

Consider adding some hydrogen peroxide to your Violet water jug. Might help if it is fungal or bacterial infection. Won’t hurt the plant. I use some when I water and it helps plants to grow better sometimes.

Actually, I put 2 T. of Hydrogen Peroxide per gallon of water - I use it fo every watering.
