Not just done for the year. Done for ever. They were having major financial problems and decided to close. Their last sale date is November 30th according to the email I received.

Blooming Bulb had some decent prices, and the stock didn't look bad when I ordered in 2020(winter). So far out of 20 bulbs ordered, most have come back, I'm still holding out hope it's still to early for everything to be up. We shall see.

Gilbert H Wild had decent prices, some buy one, get one. I didn't buy anything, well peonies. I've had hit and miss on the day lilies though so I'm hesitant on anything else.

It's tough to buy peonies online because it can take so long to get an actual bloom. As long as you are at least happy it lived to the next year that can be good but it may still end up a wrong color or whatever.

I've used and been happy with Adelman, A&D nursery in Washington state, and Songsparrow. I also visited Adelman in person and the peony fields were beautiful!

Has anyone tried Green Garden Farm? There's a $20 price difference for Auten's Pride between them and Hollingsworth and I want to be sure I'm not missing something.

Very sad that Song Sparrow close last year. We were able to visit their nursery and purchased a few peonies and other plants before they closed.

Songsparrow may be resurrected based on a posting by someone on FB stating that it was. I do question their statement that they purchased all the stock from Klehm because I am aware of at least three nurseries who split the peonies among them based on their specialty. Gilbert Wild's latest flyer mentioned that they had purchased their inventory of daylily's. Based on this I would be cautious and not expect the same plants as before. I suspect that they purchased the trade name and perhaps not the stock.
