off-center dining room

Hello! We are trying to determine the best way to layout our dining room. The window is off center but the current lighting is in the center of the room. We are considering shifting the table to be centered on the window, using a linear light fixture centered above the dining room table (and centered on the window as well), with two recessed lighting fixtures on the left side of the room to "differentiate" between the "walking space" and the "dining room table." We would also like to add some kind of buffet on the left wall and likely a tall plant (perhaps a birds of paradise) in the back left corner. Would shifting everything to center the table on the window make the room seem weird? Is it better to keep the table centered in the room under the current lighting? Any guidance would be very helpful!
