I received this from someone here a few years back, love it! Have lost the tag/info. Just remember it started with Volk which was my maiden name. Want to share with my sisters this x-mas so if anyone could help me out, would greatly appreciate!!!

I googled "african violet volk" and came up with a Russian Hybrid and a Russian Chimera. Was this a russian violet???? Try to google. Rosie

Can be EK-Morskoj Volk - (EK - Sea Wolf) , though this one is too light and too single..

Can be an oldie from Volkmann's... but most of them do not have photos on MC2.

The best will be to get back to the person you got the starter from... just another reason - to say THANK YOU.

I have tried contacting the lady I received it from but it’s been 11 years ( my idea of a ‘few years back’) and didn’t have any luck.

I do agree with a big ‘Thank You’ to all who have shared over the years!

11 years is a long time. It is quite an achievement that this plant thrived in your collection for so long. The name is probably unrecoverable at this point - so call it My Volk...
