I have pulls on the drawers, and knobs on the doors in my Shaker cabinet kitchen. So Hubs is not suggesting a no-no.

However, the real question is which is best to open the doors in your kitchen (based on what will be behind them) for the person who is going to be opening them. Think about each door one at a time. The doors will tell you their consensus.

Of course, I am assuming that you have already planned out where everything is going to be in your new kitchen. At least once. Probably twice. Or more. Am I right??

Definitely some sort of pull on the drawers. I would love to have the installers put handles on during install. Hoping to have it as pulled together as possible for Christmas/New Year.

This drawing is close to our final - we ended up with the tall cabinets being white and glass cabinets instead of open shelves.

The idea of knobs on all cabinets is growing on me. There is no reason for a pull, except for possibly the trash pull out.

Does it matter with corner cabinets? We do have a U with 4 cabinets??

The Shakers would have used simple turned wooden knobs.

Assuming modern drawer glides, a singe center mounted knob works fine on drawers. No need for two pulls.

We did knobs on our doors and pulls on drawers.
