Hello Everyone,

I need help in everything including decor curtains, rugs and lighting.

Please pour in ideas for the other section of the bedroom. It’s an L-shaped room. We were not very keen on adding a television in the bedroom. So, what would be your idea if there is no Television.

Also, the chest is in the other section right now. Should it be with the bed area? In my mind I wanted to keep light furniture in the other section ( not very heavy on the eyes) to balance the room altogether. Please suggest if that is correct thinking.

Every idea is welcome.

I have no idea the bed is very heavy looking and iMO lighter colored furniture in the seating space will not work if you are thinking lighter wood.That papasan chair in no way works with the bed . i think the chest needs to be in the space with the bed. What is your style? .What is your bedding that might give us a hint as to style since you have no idea books .

Thanks for replying.

By lighter, I meant simple yet complementing furniture. That chair definitely does not belong there. I missed removing it before taking pictures. Any ideas you can pour on the type of furniture ( Chair, couch, console) I should choose for the seating area would really help. As for the bedding, I have not chosen anything yet.

Consider a chaise in the sitting area, with a lamp and a place to put a book or your glasses.

Have you tried chest on other wall... And as said, place a colorful chaise in that area instead. I noticed your flowers - this over the chest?
