My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

      It's been snowing off and on, but it melts in between storms. This is at the end of my driveway. Those scruffy old pines look so much better laden with snow.

      Erasmus, your 'pets' are as cute as can be. They all have expressions.

      Dave, I hope I can find Blue Girl locally. If she does ok in 6a, she might survive here.

      Ann, you've already convinced me to get Life of the Party! You can stop now! If mine isn't this wonderful, I"ll be disappointed.

      Ben, Tahitian Sunset is inching her way onto my list. The pink edge is the clincher.

      Seil, Pumpkin Patch has those pink edges, too. I'm a goner for those.

      Sheila, I hope your Jello set up, but I bet it was delicious either way.

      Vap, I'm impressed. I was a lazy bum all day.

      My orange Jello and green bean casserole turned out, but my husband's turkey and 5 pies stole the day. Weather a little different here.

      Ann, I'm here again, taking another look at Life of the Party. I can't get enough. Do you recommend own root or grafted? I realize our conditions are different. Did yours take off right away, or have a slow beginning? I did not like that rose the first time I saw it, now I want it in multiples. You are such a quiet enabler. All you have to do is post a pic.

      Hope everyone had a beautiful and safe Thanksgiving. I made Turkey with cornbread stuffing and gravy, plus mashed potatoes, not too sweet cranberry sauce with cinnamon and cloves and pumpkin and apple pies. Wow Shelia! What a spread... and those pies look amazing! He’s a keeper :-)

      Hi flowers- Mine is a tree standard that got a slow start but that seems to be the norm for standards in my garden. So I’m not sure what to recommend. It seems to bloom in cycles with lots of blooms in each cycle. In your climate a grafted one might be better. Sorry for the enabling!
