led tape vs led housing

Need to make a decision whether we will go
With led housing under cabinet in the middle or back of under cabinet with notched cabinet and a few fake bottoms . It does cost more. Or led tape . We gave 1.5 inch little valence molding under cabinet regardless. Any advice ?

Idk if my posts apply to your situation, or are accurate:

on Houzz: Inspired LED: "I recommend LED strips that have adhesive back that attach the lights to the trim (such as the products we have). They are light weight; our high quality LEDs will last much longer than most rope lights... I wouldn't recommend rope lighting unless you have a way to secure it, as we've heard complaints about it being inconsistent and not distributing well."

Houzz: The plug strip is made by Wiremold. There is a "faceless" GFI device installed to protect the outlets as shown in the image below. Clear Lighting and Electrical Design in 2016.
