Would floor lamp on each end of bookcase work? at top is great, but what about lower....

Bookcase on entire wall? Custom build - possibly long 2 -3 sconces within width of the cases.

More flexible and changeable if not hard-wired... my idea to place 2 on each wall with one higher than other. Then same symmetrical on opposite wall. One for standing height, the other for sitting.... see next post.

Easy to point at a book shelf -

I gathered my thoughts and realized this is like having 2 sconces placed on 1 wall - no wiring.

3,000K warm white LED lights rotate 360° / use three brightness levels using the dimming foot switch / to shine on corners of living room, bedroom, or office. Other finishes too.

It's because I have interest in tiny homes... backyard places. I have to think about it alot, cause I don't have money.

I would put in half hot switches and use floor lamps for general lighting and desk/task lighting where you need the rest.

If you plan to hang a painting in here then that is where I would put a sconce above the art to both light that and give you some "night light" effect.

Oh and not sure if the bookcase will be ceiling high but you could also add sconces directly on to that. Or LED tape light inside each shelf.

Half hot switches are... ?

like in the 70's where you can plug your lamp into the outlet and the wall switch will turn it on.
