It's looking alright! Why are you putting your art above the fireplace? If you want it then replace the mirror. Otherwise, I suggest hanging the art on the left wall in the first picture! You also need a rug to ground your furniture, and to specify your room area!

I don’t think it’s the size, I just think the placement there is wrong. It just looks like a big, black rectangle disjointed from everything. And I don’t care for the two chairs in front of it. Sorry. There has to be a better place for it.

Size looks fine - I'd consider putting it over the fireplace. Or maybe even on the wall to the left of the doorway, you'd have some symmetry w what looks like a large opening above.

I don’t think it’s too big either. It’s hung too high for sure. And why is it above chairs? That feels awkward.
