Bronze will look lovely. Be aware they will tell you it's a "living" finish. Basically it means it will rub off and they aren't going to replace it for you. So if you want it to look pristine, be sure of your choice, it will "age". I have bronze in my kitchen which is sort of English country so the finish looks fine and I enjoy it.

You should use two pulls per drawer (those drawers will be heavy when they are filled with pots and pans, etc) In a brushed nickel...that would coordinate with your stainless appliances. How about using a knob on the upper? A vintage glass knob would work in a classic kitchen.

I think knobs *look* fine, but I've lost a couple of pockets to hooking on them, and had my headphones pulled out while putting dishes away. So I'd never have them below counter level. You don't have to have the official matching pulls. You could look for others in a similar finish with angled shape. Your knobs are oversized, which helps them match the presence of pulls anyway.
