Tall fireplace wall advice

I’m in the middle of a minor fireplace update. Mantle will be white and clean looking. The tv will be dropped by a foot. Since the tall TV wall will need to be repainted, should I go ahead and keep a neutral color or a more dramatic paint? Fireplace opens to a renovated white kitchen. Before:

It's looking beautiful! I would recommend doing different paint color depending on your furniture and other room decors.

Here's dark and dramatic, and to partially integrate the TV so it is a bit hidden when not on. You might not want to paint the FP itself. Maybe someone can photoshop the concept onto your pic.
