I like the first two together, the third not so much

need to see the entire room and furniture and wall colors

#3 is neutral and should work w/either of the others.

    Maybe.

I think all three coordinate nicely.

IMO #1 and#3 work together but not the middle one. I too need to see the spaces to really help at all.

Just interested in if the rugs work together. Not going to post additional pics because then I’m told to repaint the room and completely rearrange furniture. Room is Mindful Gray. Style is modern farmhouse. I own rug #1 and #3. Was wanting a lighter coordinating rug. I see pics of coordinating rugs on pinterest like this all the time.

Sara, you have my "houzzer sympathy." From your photos, though small, Idk why the second wouldn't go... you said they have open view to each other.... say 2nd has large-impact art.. and the tiny patterns could complement that art or a console with painted carving... wow Just going on... please show your rooms... ignore what you don't like.

I think it just depends on how "safe" you're trying to play it. From my screen, the colors coordinate well. A geometric and a floral seem fine to me, but the second option rug is very safe. It's neutral and it coordinates. The first option rug seems to fit, color-wise; it's quite different but I don't think it fights with the botanical rug.

No. 2 and the barely there pattern, good near striking art say, and it complements better than solid...

or it's a not so great walk-through and you don't want much there?! :) please show your space... :(

LOL! Glad I’m not the only one that deals with this. Seriously though. Most of this house is turning out gray, beige, and ivory so maybe I need to get a new living room rug. Would it work to have these rugs in the same space?

Would the jute rug still work?

8x10 rugs are this close. Jute is on other side of Christmas tree. Plan on gel staining cabinets to match flooring better.

I like your original 2nd choice. The pattern and color seems to work with your others, and they look far enough apart to work well. I think it's better to have the mix of large and small patterns rather than those two large patterned gray ones above. If the new one is for the dining area, you might consider a slightly larger one, so all the chair legs stay on the rug when the chairs are fully pulled out.

You own #1 and #3. Explain “modern farmhouse” as you imagine it. To me, the two words are opposed unless you want to use #1 with a MCM feel? Could be cool having a Picasso print with the rug and adding a modern farmhouse table.

Which is why I have figured out that rug #1 doesn’t go along with the rest of my rooms and why I am drawn to the gray, cream, and beige ones.

Also a 9x12 won’t fit the dining space so an 8x10 it is. Chairs fit just fine when pulled out. Never had a problem.
