You should have used a darker grout.

I realize that. Do you think the darker grout take away from the color of the tile like in pix also? I scared to have same problem.

I think it looks beautiful! Stand back to see the overall look. What is your first impression? I see from the photo how the light reflects differently over the undulated tile surface which is quite visually pleasing. I prefer noticing that instead of grout lines for this type of tile. Give yourself time to get used to it and see if you start to like it!

A grout that closely matches the color of the tile will give you the effect you got. A darker grout will mimic the effect of the shadows with the ungrouted tile. Of course, there are all the gradations between no contrast and high contrast that will give let you see the grout lines but not as dramatically as the ungrouted tile.

I think it looks fine as it is. As Carolae noted, it puts the focus on the surface variations in the tile and how the light plays off them.

Either the grout has to be scraped out and replaced with a darker grout or a colorant would have to be applied by hand over every grout line. Ugh.

I'd suggest having the tile regrouted. Yes, it's an expense you didn't anticipate and you may get used to the current look, but I think there's also a good chance that you won't and you'll feel a twinge of regret every time you look at it. The looks are very different, and while both are pretty, I also prefer the the look of that tile "outlined".

We decided to tear it down and redo it with a different grout color.
Another random/silly question from someone that doesn’t know what I’m talking about lol....can you “undergrout tile” like not use as much to give a more raw, natural look? If that even makes sense.
