Help! Proper height for light fixtures ???

Hello, I am getting light fixtures installed tomorrow over my dining room table and over my kitchen island. What is the proper height to hang them?
-My dining table is 30 1/2 inches high. The ceiling is 11 1/2 feet high
-The kitchen island is 36 inches high and the ceiling over it is 10 feet high
-the tallest person in the house is 6 feet 1 (73 inches)
-the dining table and kitchen island are in the same room (does it influence anything?
see pictures: dining table light is skygarden 2 by FLOS and kitchen island lighters are NUR by ARTEMIDE
