After much debate we are getting ready to sign off on our new construction showplace kitchen. I have gone back and forth between a natural wood island and painted urbane bronze and ultimately decided on the UB. We will have white wall cabinets, stainless thermadoor appliances, white oak tile plank flooring (compliments of our kids and dogs), and walnut floating shelves to each side of the kitchen window.

Can someone please comment on this color palette from a design perspective ?

Also I have not chosen pendant lights for over the island or counter tops. I am leaning towards white quartz with some dark veining. Thoughts ?
