Sultry thanks. The red one is an old variety cattleya I've had for over 10 years. Cattleya chocolate drop x RLC San Damiano. Blooms 2-3 times a year.

Deb that orange one is one of my 3 most favorites! I just love that plant. Overall I prefer small flowers..

Bea, have you had to run heat in your Orchid House during these colder nights this winter?

Bea, me too. I especially love the tiny wildflowers

Sultry yes but not only these colder nights. The two genera that comprise most of my collection, vandas and phals, don’t like cold weather so I keep the GH thermostat set at 60. The heater comes on mostly only at night late fall through early spring.
