Organic amendments decompose resulting in settling. So to raise your soil level - and keep it there - you want a product that is mostly mineral material.

If your landscape pro is worth their salt, they should know what soil to bring in and have a source.

Most of the landscape supply outfits around here that sell bulk soils/mulches/gravel, etc. offer something called a garden planting mix (or landscape mix, 3-way mix, etc.). Note that different places will call this mix different things - could also be labeled as "organic topsoil" or just topsoil. But in most cases it will be a sandy loam that is enriched with a percentage of compost (20-30%). It is an all-purpose planting soil, suitable for lawns and any planting beds.

It will settle - all imported soil will to some degree - but not a lot. If you can, let sit a week or so after bringing in and grading before any planting. And a good rainfall during this period won't hurt either :-)

1/3 compost added to a material that already has some organic content = a lot of the original volume shrinking over time as the organic portion decomposes and disappears. Unless enough additional organic material is added periodically going forward to compensate for this decomposition.

The dubious practice of amending soil areas destined for permanent landscape installations has been
discussed in this column on other occasions. To summarize briefly, the problem with this practice is that
within 10 years (conservatively) the organic amendment will have decomposed; one is then left with the
original soil, which will have subsided and compacted during this time. You can see evidence of this
practice by looking at older residential lawns; the lawns slope away from sidewalks and driveways and
are inches below grade of surrounding surfaces. There is no way to incorporate additional amendment
into permanent landscapes without damaging root systems. Instead, it is easier, cheaper, and more natural
to add organic material by topdressing landscapes that are not planted and harvested on an annual basis.
