Hello Again! Hoping to do an DIY update of my grandparents kitchen finally (tried last year, fail). I’ve read a number of articles saying this can be done from $500 - $5,000 dollars which is my max budget. I know we are need of wall color change and the cabinets can be painted (maybe ?) Let me note, I don’t know the first thing about painting walls or cabinets. Advice-is welcomed especially if saves us money.

My grandmother would like to transition to a beige color kitchen with the bluestar oven below (no color - Stainless steel). I’ve attached some photos of what her kitchen looks like now. Is there app that lets me visualize our current space with beige color cabinets? It’s hard to get a full photo kitchen photo - it’s long. Whatever we paint the kitchen cabinets will like go in the bathrooms since they have the same cabinets. Home was built in 1980. Good bones just in need of some grandmother approved updates.

After some research I believe the cabinets are covered in contact paper and made out of MDF or plywood.
