master bath wall tile heights

Can wall tile be 2-3 different heights? I want part the room to be up to a higher window then up to a lower window by the tub & the other part to be just above the sink the heights would change on an outside corner (toilet is in a niche, that the wall is going bye bye)

These are befores. everything is going. there will be a freestanding tub under the large window - the shower glass framless - sink chanhing to single with 2 smaller side counters so I can add a linen closetnext to the toilet.

Overall theme is white & gems. all the walls will be large subway tile with white grout ,the top of each wall of tile will have a 6inch strip of mixed mosaic (white stone, metal & gems)running along the top. all the heights would be broken by a wall ending or the shower (this tile will not be in the shower because of the metal). I have not seen this done but think it would look good & draw your eye around the room. My hubby is a contractor & his feeling is this is just NOT done . . . I like being unique & doing things different & feel this could work because all the endings/ height changes will be broken up by doors, wall turns or fixtures. . . oh door changing to pocket style . . I HATE that thing!
