Agreed. It looks like Key lime. Key limes turn yellow and then fall from the tree. But if it tasted like a lemon rather than a lime, then who knows? Maybe lemonquat?

The green coloration of the pulp, shows some parenthood of lime.

interesting, perhaps i was so focused on its lemon qualities that I subliminally ignored its lime qualities.
