they will need to be hardened off to light intensity ... so dont fry them when you do ... since we dont know what kind of lights.. etc ... its hard to give more precise answers ...

i doubt you will have to start over ... but worse things can happen ...

I am still chuckling. You do have great wisdom. I echo your advice. And you do it with a very limited use of capital letters and generous use of line feeds. And that is your unique style, and you do use capital letters WHERE IT COUNTS. Don't change.

Can you add a little more soil mix to the cups? Or when you separate them, just plant them a little deeper? I'd never give up unless they were dying! lol

time to take the plastic off ... the humidity tent was to insure the media stayed moist.. now the plants need to acclimate to the air ... also ... too much humidity can lead to molds.. mildews and algae ... though if you sterilized.. odds are much lower ... harden them off to reducing such ... dont rip it all off at once ...

if you have more seed.. plant more cups ... dont give up on these ... lets see what happens ...

do you have any goal for culling ... get it in your head now.. you cant keep them all ... peeps say.. all the adult are there now [but for the light issue] ... so do you relaly need 80 of the exact same thing????

when they get to the 4 leaf stage.. transplant them .. and that is when you can fix media levels ...

the crown is supposed to be at the surface.. burying it too deep might make them look less leggy.. but it MIGHT lead to other problems ...

look for small solo cups for next transplant ... aka jello shot cups ... or so i head.. lol ... actually ive never had a jello shot in my life ... good to know i avoided one form of alcohol ... lol ...

z8.. hmm ... if you opt outside.. full bright shade ... during the day might not hurt ... as long as you watch temps .... light cold probably not hurt them.. but it could put them in slow motion ...

no matter what happens.. you are leaning for next time ... so just keep trying new things [e..g. just put one cup outside.. to see what happens]
