What is this? Never seen it before

Okay so I have had this plant for about 3 months now and water it every 2-3 weeks or when i notice the soil is drrrryyyy. I just seen this today, as I was going to water it, and this sprout is growing in the soil (even tho in photo it look like it’s coming from the leaf) what is this? Should I be worried? What should I do? If I pull on it a little, it won’t come out easily
