The Old House Remodeling Design Dilemma

Mid century modern door handles

I am doing a major reno on a bungalow built in the 1960s. I am trying to figure out which interior door handles to use. I recently purchased Baldwin's Torrey Pines passage and privacy levers. However, I think they might not be the right fit for a mid century modern home. Any advice on what I should go with, and colour (assuming nickel?) would be wonderful!

I grew up in a 1955 rambler and the door knobs were simple polished chrome rounded knobs.

In the 1960s house I grew up in, they were round, brass and simple. Not every detail has to be stylized. A lot were pretty standard.
