Exposed hinges are kinda charming on a painted kitchen cabinet.

Check with your local cabinet maker or wood working shop. We just changed to hinges similar to the rockier ones above. They were 6$ ea. At Lowe’s and 1.50 at the local wood worker store. Independent guy, not a chain.
