Are you definite about using the shelving? By the time you fill and add sconces, it may look very busy. From a practical perspective, they are not convenient to rest a glass, phone, clock, book, etc If you want to display photos you could look for a multi levelled nightstand.

See layering below and perhaps your shelves could be used elsewhere In your room.

If keeping, the sconces would have to be outside bedframe or will be in the way. The second may be more practical as it looks like It has greater capacity to move sideways.

I would definitely put them outside of the bed frame so that guests don't accidentally hit their head if they sit up in bed.
