Cold enough but not very :-) 37F at the moment and should skyrocket to a whopping 42F!!

But they are predicting colder temps later this week with nights well below freezing and days barely above. And they are mentioning the dreaded "S" word!!

Yeah, I guess my 15 degrees F isn't so bad after all lol - especially since the sun is out!

-15°F Sunday morning and -12°F this morning here just south of Minneapolis. No record setting lows in the forecast but it looks like this will linger for a while. Slightly warmer midweek, but more of the arctic cold next weekend. Decent snow cover so hopefully there's enough insulation for everything.

We are being warned of ‘bitter cold’ coming our way from Scandinavia ...... could go as low as -3c/26f overnight 🥶 and it’s trying to snow a little. So far unsuccessfully. But the kids have had snow in London which is rare.

It's 23° F. here, which is OK with me - I have snow to shovel. Last week I was shoveling snow when it was 41° F., which was awful, with snow starting to melt and sticking to the shovel.

It was -6C with no wind (21F). My DD and I went to a friends lake to shovel off an area for a skating rink. It was very pleasant out.

mid Europe, 0C, or +3C (37 F), but the weather forecast predicts -13C (8.6F) around Friday. We keep some dwarf chicken, they are reasonably cold hardy, but so far, -6C was the worse they experienced so far, dear me...

I'm sucking it up- with how mild most of the winter has been, I can't gripe too hard about a couple weeks of real winter in February.

Yes, currently bitter, bitter cold, but this is the Canadian prairies and these mean nasty cold snaps are to be expected and really no harm being done to my plants due to selection of hardy material and also there being an all important blanket of insulating snow. People will sometimes say "Oh, but how can you live there!??" ... but, I can say the very same for many regions that endure tortuously hot summers and high humidity that zap the life out of all living things. When some are baking for months on end and can only garden in the cool of the morning hours .... up north here, for the entire growing season, I can generally be outside from sun up to sun down! It's really all relative ! :) ... BUT, yes, I wish it would warm the heck up!

I got out for a walk early before the snow they forecast arrives this morning and even with my very large long down coat, I could feel the cold. Brrrr! 18F degrees on the back porch. Happy to have about 18" of snow cover for the garden and another 6 inches on the way. March is only 3 weeks away!!

Rouge, it can be bitterly cold, though as long as the sun is shining and there is no wind, often it will not even feel half bad, BUT get a wind and OMGosh that's a game changer and one can quickly feel your ears being nipped at by Jack Frost! Yes, a dry cold here, currently even soooo cold that it's unable to snow!

More snow today and it was down to 3F in the mountains yesterday morning. I've got my seed orders in and it's too early to start anything so with nothing better to do we took the kids skiing :)

Highs have been in the 10s and 20s here for the past week, and looks the same heading into at least the beginning of next week. I don't mind being out in those temps as long as it's not windy -- it's the wind that makes it miserable.

With the wind chill it is -25C (-13F) I think I will wait a while to top up my firewood box. It is the coldest it has been this winter. It has been a relatively warm one so I can't complain...too much lol!

i can add clothes this time of year ... but come 100F plus weather .. you really dont want to see me taking off more clothes ... and tooling around town ... in the heat....

they wont let you in stores in a thong and swampers... in summer ....in my part of the country anyway ... maybe up in canada ... lol ... as long as you have a hockey cap on .. lol ...
