Remove countertop over dishwasher

I’m preparing to have new granite countertops installed and to save some money opted to remove the old laminate tops myself. My only real concern with that is how to remove the top over the dishwasher. I assume it is screwed in from below like the other tops but would prefer to be able to remove it without having to unhook and pull out the dishwasher. I’m ok if this section is top gets damaged but can’t have damage too the cabinets.

is there any way to do this?

The dishwasher is normally screwed to the countertop with 2 screws. I trust you will be able to locate them.

Yes but I’m concerned about the screws in the back holding the top to the cabinet

There are probably two screws through the top tabs in the dishwasher screwed to the bottom of the countertop. Remove them please. Modern dishwashers are screwed through their sides into adjacent cabinets/panels.

Once any screws securing the top to the front of the cabinets are removed, just give a yank and the tops will come off, rear screws or not.
