You need to show the rest of the room to get good suggestions of what to do. The candelabra are beautiful and don't need any distracting other items. What you do need is something on the wall as jck910 says--beautiful art or mirror. But the style depends on what's in the room. When you post a Dilemma, it's helpful to get views of opposide walls, side, etc.

Well, here are my thoughts. Move the mirror vertically behind your candleabra! Two reasons:

--Mirror will reflect the light from the window across.

--You get back view of your candlesticks and your chandelier.

Get a piece of art to look at while dining, something large and beautiful. But first paint that wall to match the others to better showcase the art. You have too many things going on to have an accent wall IMO. Pick your palette from your rug, i.e. blacks and golds (which echoes your brass candlesticks.). Your selection is your own taste. These are more for palette, but high contrast, bold abstracts can look amazing in a traditional space. You could also choose a pairing of complementary art works.

Move the Victorian candle set to the dining room table. It will make a lovely centerpiece.

When you say “You gave too many things going on”, what do you mean? Several items I have, coffee table, nesting tables, tea cart, light and candelabra I inherited from my grandparents who bought these things from Italy. Nobody in my household, but me of course, likes these things. I guess these items are traditional but how can I incorporate two styles so things look ok? I am thinking traditional, contemporary with perhaps rustic????? Help please.
