Bobbi - black is a pretty universal colour so I wouldn't have a problem with it, I think you will probably just notice it less. Yes I was thinking the same colour as your furniture, which I normally don't like to see, but in your case the blue tiles will work to break that up nicely. Mary-Peggy - That is funny, a freight train, I'm thinking more waves on a beach. When something happens we all dive onto it and dump all our thoughts before running off to the next thing. Bobbi has done a lot to her kitchen fairly recently and she only has a small budget to work with so we have to keep things waaaaay down to purely cosmetic changes AND keep her focussed on her aims - now that can be like stopping a freight train!!!. Firstly, we have to zero in on her main area of discontent and that seems to be the floor which in the main, can't be changed. Personally, I'm not seeing a problem with changing the timber colour when the floor is so different, it would be no different to the floor changing to all tile or lino or any other different coloured and patterned surface. I'm really thinking this is going to work for her and solve all her issues and if she finds some brown paper or cardboard to cut to the size of the timber and puts them over some of the existing boards, she will get a good idea of how it will work. She can also put it near the doorway to check the effect with the other timber flooring. If she is still not happy with it then we go back to the drawing board

studio, just got back from 9/4 and boy was it a trip! Lots of ideas and yes, we can handle it...just need to delegate some of the actual work as I am pretty heavily committed for someone who should still be lying down. Calendar sales are no problem, we just update the website and add to our payment options there. The golf committee is already looking at ways to get the calendar out. I favor an all digital issue for you to print out at FedEx or just roll with on your computer screen. Maybe a calendar app for the smart phone users? That gets out of my league for tech and time...but this is CA...we have those people. Hard copies means printing costs and digital can go viral... Puppies and spay/neuter? Committee wanted me to ride in on my horse (rescue horse)...the thought of sliding into the saddle with a kilt on gave me the willies. I'll contact folks for the digital image we have of the meeting room and get it up on my profile, then try to come up with a way to beg donations for building it.

I like it because it pairs nicely with brown. Often gray tends to lean toward the purple or taupe side when paired with brown but in our bath is stays truly gray even with a brown shower curtain. Angelica AF-665 seams to have a lot of purple but is a soft light gray color Metropolitan Af-690, and Wish AF-680 are also great light grays

I think what she "means" is that very old posts, things that have been resolved, routinely come up as "related discussions" that reference something - e.g. If one was looking for info on a faux fireplace, or fireplace, this may appear. Especially if comments are still happening from time to time. So no, no way to turn this off as it may "relate" to a current issue looking for resolution.
