Here are the Vs from my garden

Victoria Grace: Bright strawberry colored bloom.

Venus Flytrap: A nice toothy edged plant.

VICTORIAN GARDEN STAR BRIGH: This is a great plant. There is nothing else like it in my garden. Bela Lugosi is one of its parents.

VESUVIAN: An older Benz red. This one has a strong velvety appearance in the garden.

VERTICAL HORIZON: This is an outstanding plant. A parent to many. I should use it more often.

Vision Seeker: A mike Derrow intro. This is a bloom machine and the scapes are rather tall.

VICTORIAN GARDEN OH HAPPY DAY: Nice bloom on a plant that is not very vigorous in my garden.

Venetian Pools is a lovely patterned daylily. Voodoo Dancer is a nice double.

We have many V's but I didn't get photos of many of them last season. Here is what I got.

Vampire Bat is registered as midseason, but for us, it is either mid-late or late.

I need to breed with Vertical Horizon. It is one that gets overlooked in a big tangle of big plants. When I look at the photo, I see the bands of color that I don't notice in the garden.

Vision of Glory has been a major disappointment. The hybridizer registered it as purple, but it has always been pale lavender in our garden. It's short too, which in itself is not a flaw, but it's not what we prefer. On checking my records, I see that we already got rid of it last year.

Vision Seeker has been moved to a new bed so hopefully we will soon see what it can do.

Viva Pinata is a good plant with a nice flower, but in the interest of downsizing, it will be going this spring.

Vivian Glass was bred in Louisiana so we are hoping it's hardy here.

Volcanic Eruption was a bonus last spring.

Vorlon Encounter Suit was also a gift from a hybridizer that Bob chats with. I think this one has a really neat shape and I like the dark color. This is definitely a keeper.

David, I like both your Victorian Garden daylilies, shame the 2nd is not so vigorous.

Laura, beautiful clump of Vanishing Mist. It has been a really good plant here, but not quite as big as yours yet. If you do want Venetian Pools, I probably will have enough to send you back some if it overwinters ok. We don't get the snowcover and have had some really cold temps.

Kay, love Voila Francois. It did not make it here, i don't know if it was weather or the series if unfortunate accidents that seemed to keep hitting it.

Voodoo dancer looks like a good double.

Velvet Throne - Nice big flower, always shorter than registered here. Reliable rebloomer for me.

Victorian Garden Heaven's Applause throws many different looking patterns. It performed very well the first two years I had it, but now it doesn't get as uch sun.

Victorian Garden Emerald Breeze - Large beautiful blooms that hold their color in the hottest temps. It's been a slow multiplier for me.

Venetian Pools shows nice patterns when the temps are cool - less so in very hot temps.

Venus Flytrap is a good grower. I don't particularly like the weird color. I think I'll be selling it this year.

Venus's Fire is a good grower.

Violet Victory has an attractive flower, but the scapes are usually very short in my garden.

Violet Sabrewing has a flower I love. I wish it had a better plant habit here. It's finally multiplying and has taller scapes than the first two years. But the bud count is not what I'd like it to be. It also has failed to rebloom here, despite being regularly watered.

Victoria Gardens Starbright. -- David gave the positives, but I must add that it can be splotchy and can bloom just above the foliage.

Mantis - I was wondering if someone would post a photo of Victorian Lace. I didn't photograph mine last year.

Hoosier Nan - Viva Pinata looks so pretty in your photo. I had that one for awhile but it never looked that good here and died. Vision of Glory was a disappointment for me too. I grew it for three years but always had the problems you mentioned.

Laura - Vanishing Mist looks so much prettier for you than it does in Emmerich's catalog. That's quite and impressive clump!

I appreciate seeing photos of Vanilla Gorilla. I have that one coming in a trade this spring. I also enjoyed seeing photos of Vision Seeker from David and Mantis. I've considered adding that one.

Brad: I like all your VT's and always wish I had more room to trial a couple here as they are mostly lates. My favorite of yours is VT September Star. Nice yellow throat blending out to the pink. Does it bloom in September for you? That really would be a late one..........Voila Francois always has such pretty form.....Mantis: Nice shot of the blooms on VG Starbright. They bloomed clear for you in that picture.............Debra: Velvet Thrones looks like such a deep red. Pretty.........Peren: I like Voodoo Dancer. Good form for a double in yourpicture.......Maryl

Maryl, Sept. Star starts in mid-late July and goes until the end of Aug. Most of them do except Autumn Fires which starts early July and goes till early October.

Brad: Is it a registered daylily? I've looked everywhere and can't find it. AHS has nothing under vt SS or SS..............Maryl

Maryl, Olallie Daylillies doesn't register many of its cultivars. You have to get them from them. https://www.daylilygarden.com/

David , that is the best photo I have ever seen of VICTORIAN GARDEN STAR BRIGHT . I fell in love with it from the hybridizer's photo . Then never again saw an image of it that looked anything like what the hybridizer's photo looked. So I stopped even thinking about it . Now you have me thinking again of trying to add it here . Wonderful Photo
